The Japan-Myanmar Aikido Association was established with the aim of fostering in young people in Japan and in developing countries in Southeast Asia, primarily Myanmar, the ability to persevere through difficulties by cultivating strong bodies and mental fortitude, and to nurture a mindset that transcends ethnicity, religion, ideology, and politics, thereby contributing to the improvement of their qualities as future leaders.

Countries such as Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Bangladesh retain a simplicity and abundant nature that is often lost in modern Japan, and offer warm and welcoming interactions with people. Moreover, they are countries that are very friendly towards Japan and possess the qualities to be good partners for coexistence and mutual prosperity in this era of globalization.

The Japan-Myanmar Aikido Association prioritizes establishing relations between Japan and Myanmar, and then aims to develop those relations with neighboring countries. We sincerely ask for the support and cooperation of as many people as possible.
